Final pH (at 25°C) : 7.4 + 0.2

Directions 

Suspend 34.34 gms. in 940ml. distilled water. Boil to dissolve the medium completely. DO NOT AUTOCLAVE. Cool to 45-50°C and add 60ml. defibrinated blood and 25 ml. Staphylococcus β toxin. Mix well and pour into sterile petri plates.
